Door-to-door Solicitations
A number of neighbors have reported unsolicited (and often unlicensed) solicitors, selling such services as tree and branch removal, general yard work, window washing, etc. We highly recommend you do NOT open your door to a solicitor.
Here's a little information on solicitations.
Q: Is door-to-door solicitation permitted in our neighborhood?
A: Yes, as long as the solicitors are licensed.
Q: Can we ban solicitors?
A: If we get neighborhood agreement and place an application with the county, we can have signs put up at each neighborhood entrance stating "No Solicitors". Additionally, individuals can place similar signs at their homes stating "No Solicitors". However, the police say most unlicensed solicitors will ignore signage.
